The Industrial Relations, Trade and SME Development Ministry says preparations for the Invest in Namibia Conference are at an advanced stage.
Some delegates began arriving at Hosea Kutako International Airport, where a temporary centre had been set up at the old arrivals terminal.
Training for local liaison officers had been completed, while customer care, logistics and transport systems are in place.
Final plans are being made to the Safari Conference Centre, while meetings on the sidelines are ongoing on a daily basis.
Media room facilities are being finalised and event managers as well as liaison companies are busy setting up.
Industrialisation, Trade and SME Development Permanent Secretary Gabriel Sinimbo said meetings are ongoing, but expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far.
Sinimbo appealed for hosting the international delegates in a Namibian friendliness and hospitality style.
Close to one-thousand delegates are expected at the two-day conference starting Tuesday..
