Students give Government 48 hours to resolve student funding crisis

Students at the University of Namibia (UNAM) alleged that political leaders only care about being voted into power but forget the masses that entrust them with the power.
They say the best manifesto for the upcoming national elections will be the one that will find solutions to the financial crisis the students are facing.
The students' representative council (SRC) and the student population will be joining a demonstration on Wednesday to protest a decision to not fund over 12 000 students this year after they received funding letters.
The students already sent a demand letter to Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) and the line ministry requesting a review of the criteria used to award students' loans.
They have now given government 48 hours to resolve the problem.
Failure to comply will result in UNAM students taking to the street.
