All teachers in the country are expected to return to duty at their schools on Tuesday, 5 May.
Learners are, however, only expected to return to school on 3 August.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Education Arts and Culture said all its staff, including those at head office and the regions, principals, teachers, institutional workers, administrative and hostel staff, are expected to physically report for duty, no later than Monday, 11 May.
All would be required to begin planning and implementing "preparedness and response plans", as well as planning for continued learning and teacher capacity development.
Further guidelines will be issued in due course.
