Three charged with rape and human trafficking of 16-year-old in Walvis Bay

Two women and a man have been charged with rape and human trafficking offences in the Walvis Bay Magistrate's Court in relation to the alleged rape of a 16-year-old minor.
Prosecution has charged 29-year-old Pakistani national, Farhan Khatri, 27-year-old- Kamongua Jaezuruka and 24-year-old Melody Ortner with offences related to statutory rape and trafficking of people. The three were arrested in Walvis Bay on Friday. Prosecution alleges that Jaezuruka and Ortner unlawfully and intentionally recruited a 16-year-old girl between May and last month, groomed her and availed her to accused Khatri for sexual exploitation.
