Two more Rundu managers served with suspension letters, another to follow

Investigations into alleged maladministration at the Rundu Town Council continue to uncover irregularities with at least two more executives set to join its already suspended CEO, Romanus Haironga.
On Friday, the town's Strategic Executive for Corporate Service and Administration, Herman Haingura, as well as Divisional Head for Environmental Health, Sithembinkosi Moyo, were served with suspension letters.
The suspension is precautionary as the council continues to investigate allegations of financial misconduct.
The two will have three days to respond to the letters and explain why they should not be suspended.
A third council executive is said to be on leave and will also be suspended once he returns to duty.
Moyo, a Zimbabwean national, is already facing legal troubles and was recently jailed, allegedly for contravening immigration laws.
A businessman, Charlton Rodney Useb was recently released on N$ 10 000 bail after he allegedly pocketed almost N$300 000 for goods which he never delivered to the council while questions have been raised about how the council's previous tender board awarded the tender.
The north-eastern town continues to experience challenges such as poor road infrastructure and the lack of serviced land with community members recently threatening to grab land.
