Walvis Bay business robbed in broad daylight

A Multisave employee and her manager were robbed at gunpoint of more than N$70 000 in Walvis Bay on Monday.
The robbery took place at around 11h45, near the Multisave shop, which is located in a busy shopping area.
Police say the two employees were seated in their Nissan bakkie, about to take the money to the bank when two men ambushed them and demanded the money.
The police report states that one of the suspects was armed with a pistol.
It is alleged that the armed suspect fired one shot in the air, grabbed the bag of money as well as the victims' car keys and fled with his partner in crime, in a silver 'Dankie Botswana'.
The police are looking for the alleged thugs and the silver Toyota Corolla with the number plate, N 184 966 WB. The car only had a number plate at the back.
No arrests have been made and the money has not been recovered.
