Woman accused in Shannon Wasserfall case denied bail

Madisia Azaan, the woman accused of murder and obstructing the course of justice in the case of Shannon Wasserfall has been denied bail.
Erongo Police believe Wasserfall was murdered and buried in a shallow grave in the dunes near Narraville at Walvis Bay.
Human remains were discovered on Tuesday and the police are yet to do a DNA test to confirm if the remains belong to Wasserfall, who went missing in April.
The 28-year-old made her first appearance in the Walvis Bay Magistrate's Court on Friday.
The State opposed bail because of the seriousness of the case and that it would not be in the interest of the public and the laws of Namibia.
The suspect will remain in police custody until her next appearance on 7 December.
The Erongo Police have indicated that more arrests could be made.
