Windhoek: Namibia's Brave Warriors will play a friendly match on the 27th of March at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
Coach Ricardo Mannetti has announced a 25-man squad going into the encounter, which includes U-20 and U-23 players.
Namibia will have a chance to avenge her defeat to Lesotho in last year's Cosafa Cup when the Brave Warriors host that country on Tuesday 27 March at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
Ricardo Mannetti has called on a 25 man squad for the upcoming game and among them are five foreign based players.
"We have mixed the team a little and we are giving the U-20 and U-23 Players advance training and exposure. We have also included 5 foreign based players in cluding Max Mbaeva who makes a return after the COSAFA Cup." Coach Mannetti said.
The other foreign-based players are Deon Hoto, Denzyl Haoseb, Benson Shilongo and Peter Shalulile.
Manetti has also reiterated that he is serious about winning the game next week and gave a message to the bulk of players, who were at the Chan competition.
“The message to the local players is that we are urging for competitiveness. We want players to up their game and not be complacent” he added.
Training for the team starts on Tuesday 20th March and the game will be played in the evening of the 27th at the Sam Nujoma Stadium at 20h00.
