-The Namibian Police at Okakarara has arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of her father's murder.

Nearly 500 residents of the Okakarara Constituency and regional leaders in the Otjozondjupa Region have been meeting to discuss electrification in the constituency. The meeting is being held at the Okakarara Trade Fair Centre.

The Otjozondjupa Region faces a critical shortage of labour inspectors. The Okakarara Constituency is one of those severely affected by the lack of labour inspectors, as there are no inspectors attached to the constituency.
