-Weeks of industrial action by Shoprite workers is over. The company struck a deal with the Nambia Food and Allied Workers Union (NAFAU) this afternoon and workers have three days to report for work.

-Employees of the Namibia Football Association, who usually get their salaries on time at the end of every month, experienced a dry festive season as their salary for December was not paid on time, while their January salary is yet to reach their accounts as well.
-Public office bearers will not receive salary increases or additional benefits anytime soon.
