The Body of Christ under the coalition of churches' 'Ethical Social Justice' has launched its 16 Days of Activism against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in the capital over the weekend.

The family members of the late Jennifer Daniels, whose body was discovered near Swakopmund last week, are demanding justice for all SGBV victims and survivors.

-Protestors against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) gathered at the Windhoek Magistrate's Court in solidarity with the 25 suspects arrested for allegedly violating the Public Gatherings Act and COVID-19 regulations on gatherings.

Residents of Otjiwarongo also joined the national protests against sexual and gender-based violence.

-Students, musicians and youth from all walks of life gathered at Windhoek's Zoo Park protesting against the increasingly violent crimes, especially against women.
