The Debmarine Desert Jewels Netball team won their second game at the M1 Nations Cup Championship in Singapore on Monday.
They beat their Irish counterparts with a score line of 52-31.
The Namibian women played their opening game against host Singapore, which they drew 52 - 52 on Sunday.
So far so good for the Namibian Debmarine Desert Jewels, as the team now also won their second match at the competition.
But, there still lies some work ahead, as the team needs to compete against four other countries at the six-nation championship.
These will be Botswana, Papua New Guinea and Cook Island.
"The feeling among the players after the drew against Singapore is overwhelming. I think we went entirely happy with our performance. We were a bit rusty and we didn't play to our full potential. There was no proper rhythm and then we were inconsistency again. So today we went to take on Irish and they are more physical than Singapore. Singapore plays with more speed and in Irish game we beat them 52 - 31" said head coach Julene Meyer.
Meyer is happy with the performance of the girls and says the mood in the camp is good.
The Desert Jewels are playing on Tuesday against high-ranked Cook Island, with other games still lined up until the weekend as the Cup will end on Saturday.
