Windhoek-Local boxer Paulus "The Hitman" Moses will face a huge mountain to climb when he takes on Ghanaian boxer Immanuel Tagoe in his upcoming fight for the WBO Africa title in October.
Paulus "The Hitman" Moses’s manager Nestor Tobias announced at a press conference held on Tuesday that Moses is going to fight for the WBO Africa title in Accra against 27-year-old Ghanaian boxer Immanuel "The game boy" Tagoe.
Moses, who is rated number nine in the world in his weight category, has participated in 45 recorded fights, winning 40 with 25 knockouts. He says he is ready to challenge for the WBO Africa title.
The 38-year old Namibian boxer lost his World Boxing Organisation title in February in a unanimous decision to Ray Beltran of the United States of America.
His Ghanaian opponent Tagoe is the current International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Lightweight title holder and has recorded 24 fights with eleven knock-outs.
“Everyone wanted a peace of Hitman right now especially, I have been getting offer all over the world for Hitman to come and fight. Most of the offers we rejected for some certain reason and Hitman come back to me that any offer must come anyone, but at least he must be rated high ”Tobas said.
The Hitman also informed the media that he is ready for the show down in Accra, Ghana.
”When I take a fight, I don't take a fight for loosing. I always take a fight to go and win and so I go to the next steps” The Hitman said.
It Moses wins the WBO Africa title bout, he will be ranked fifth on the world ranking.
