Mannetti announces 17- man squad for AFCON

Brave Warriors coach Ricardo Mannetti has called up a team of 17 players to travel to Egypt and compete in the African Cup of Nations.
Ricardo Mannetti is gearing up for Namibia's third overall participation at the African Cup of Nations, with his squad being dominated by foreign-based players.
“I want the best for my team, I am very dedicated, the rest of the team will join after the Cosafa Games, We have a very good team, I am lucky that so far my boys are very fit and ready to go and represent Namibia” Mannetti said.
Former Brave Warriors player Manfred Starke, who is playing in Germany, has been recalled to the team, with England-based Ryan Nyambe making his debut for the Brave Warriors.
According to coach Mannetti, the team will be departing to Dubai, where they will play a friendly match against Ghana on the 2nd of June.
They are expected to play another friendly against a team yet to be announced, before they jet off to Eqypt with their first Cup match against Morocco on the 23rd of next month.
Their first encounter will be followed by a match against South Africa on the 28th of June and the final match of the group against Ivory Coast on 1st July.
