-The US government has pledged more than N$15 million towards Namibia's drought relief program.
-A new anti-retroviral therapy clinic handed over at Katima Mulilo District Hospital. The clinic is an initiative by the US Government, with funding from the American President's emergency plan for AIDS Relief through the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) which allowed the expansion of the pharmacy, patient waiting area and ablution facilities.
-The government of the United States of America has pledged its continued support for Namibia in its fight against the HIV/Aids pandemic.
